George Langworthy- English cemetery

-George Langwhorthy- He was born in Rushalme in Manchester.In 1898.His wife and him were relocated from England to Málaga.They started living in El Limonar,but three years later,they move to Torremolinos.They lived into an old military fort.In this fort,they created beautyful gardens which transformed the are known as La Punta de Torremolinos.In 1913 his wife died pneumania,when she was 40 because of did he decided to enlist in the British Army. But because of his mental situation he wasn't allowed to fight. When he returned to Torremolinos,he decided to turn into a phlanthrquists and to help poor people. He transformed his house into a shelterfor wounded salders,poor people and saks He was knownas ''Ingles de la peseta''becaused he used to give a peseta in exchange for reading,a passage of the Bible.He became the first Torremolinos adoptive sop. When he died only had a little amount of money ,he decided to tranform his old military fort into an hotel called Castillo Santa Clara Hotel.People from all over the world went to Torremolinos to stay there.He started tourism in the Costa del sol. When he died his money was given to the hotel staff
